[ 11 ] | At that time, the British, French and other imperialist countries wanted to lead the Nazi war to the Soviet Union, so they had appeasement policy to the Nazi. The Soviet Union under the leadership of Stalin, of course, wanted to take the Nazis’ spearhead to other countries and win as much peacetime as possible; therefore, they had a peace treaty signed with the Germany Nazi and an agreement, which actually carved up Poland with Nazi; and also had signed a non-aggression treaty with Japan at that time to reduce the stress on the Soviet Union in the east and the pressure of strategic operations in two lines---the west and east; Since the Soviet Union was the only socialist country in the world at that time, we should understand what Stalin did then, not criticize him now; With the development of history, Stalin still firmly led the Soviet people, and cooperated with other countries, to defeat Nazi Germany and Japanese fascist and won the victory of world war II. |
